Hospital introduction
Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Jinshazhou Hospital is a three-level comprehensive hospital approved by the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, which integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, and prevention. It is a major livelihood project in Guangzhou, a 120 emergency network hospital in Guangzhou, one of the first batch of internet hospitals in Guangdong Province, a designated hospital for medical insurance/work-related injury/maternity insurance and a linked hospital for public medical care in Guangzhou, and a remote hospital in Guangdong Province Cross provincial and remote medical insurance directly settles medical treatment at designated hospitals. The hospital has obtained the qualification of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) Drug Clinical Trial Institute (GCP), and is a master's/doctoral training base at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a chairman unit of the Guangzhou Anti Cancer Association (GACA), a vice chairman unit of the Chinese Clinical Oncology Society (CSCO), a chairman unit of the Chinese National Health Association Radiosurgery Training Base, and the first chief committee unit of the Radiosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association.
The hospital is located at No. 1 Lichuan East Street, Jinshazhou, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, with 1500 beds, 48 various intensive care beds, and 19 modern laminar flow operating rooms. The third phase of the hospital project plans to add 500 VIP wards and a comprehensive building of 60000 square meters.
The hospital follows the concept of "building nests to attract phoenix". Since its establishment, the hospital has introduced dozens of expert teams from both domestic and foreign sources, including Professor Luo Rongcheng, the head of the National Clinical Key Oncology Specialty, the former Vice President of the Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University, Professor Wang Yuandong, a professor of thoracic oncology surgery and the former Dean of the Cancer Hospital Affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University, and Professor Long Zhixiong, the first chief committee member of the Radiation Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, More than 30 oncology experts with rich clinical and academic experience, including Professor Wang Yang from ICON Group in Australia, collaborated together in the field of radiation physics. Gradually formed characteristic disciplines such as the International Cancer Medical Center, the Cancer Comprehensive Medical Department, Guangzhou Intelligent Robot Assisted Surgery Consultation Center, Orthopedic Diagnosis and Treatment Center, Minimally Invasive Diagnosis and Treatment Center, Emergency and Critical Care Treatment Center, and Rehabilitation Center.
The hospital actively assumes social responsibility, plays an important role in the prevention and control of the COVID-19, and regularly carries out scientific and technological assistance, popular science education, free clinic consultation and other public welfare activities at the grass-roots level in the community, winning praise from the government and society.
